2020 Farmers Cooperative – 2025 Year in Review

In 2025, the 2020 Farmers Cooperative demonstrated resilience and resolve amid a challenging funding environment. Despite the termination or delay of several anticipated funding opportunities, the Cooperative remained focused on its core mission: strengthening farmers, expanding shared ownership, and advancing equitable agricultural systems.

Throughout the year, we prioritized member engagement, operational stability, and fiscal responsibility, ensuring the Cooperative remained strong, transparent, and responsive to farmer needs. Strategic administrative improvements and governance planning helped position the organization for long-term sustainability, even in uncertain times.

Education and training continued to be central to our work. Through virtual and hybrid programming, farmer-led knowledge exchange, and the creation of reusable educational resources, we supported farmers with practical, field-tested tools rooted in regenerative and sustainable practices.

The Cooperative also remained active in partnership development and grant planning,

strengthening relationships and preparing high-quality proposals focused on soil health, food systems, and market readiness. While funding pathways shifted, these efforts resulted in stronger collaborations and increased readiness for future opportunities.

Above all, 2025 reaffirmed what defines the 2020 Farmers Cooperative: a farmer-owned organization grounded in integrity, accountability, and collective strength. We move forward prepared, optimistic, and committed to building a resilient future for farmers and communities.
