Every Pixel Tells a Story, Every Donation Sustains a Farmer.
What if...
A 1½-inch image could help sustain a farmer, strengthen a community, and protect our food system?
That’s not a metaphor. It’s a real campaign.
The 2020 Farmers Co-Op is raising $1.5 million to support small-scale, socially disadvantaged farmers nationwide because our food system is only as strong as the people who grow it.
Supporting farmers isn’t charity. It’s smart leadership.
When farmers thrive, communities eat better, local economies strengthen, and food systems become more resilient.
Here’s how we’re doing it differently…
We’re building a 6,000-piece digital mosaic—each small image representing a donor, partner, or organization—into an 8’ x 8’ public work of art, created by nationally renowned artist PeQue.
Piece by piece, the image grows.
Week by week, the story unfolds.
Until the full picture is revealed on June 19, 2026.
We hope you will join us in this effort.

2020 Farmers Co-Op at a Glance
What is a Cooperative?
A cooperative (or co-op) is a business that’s owned and run by the people who use it. When you join a cooperative, you are not just buying into a business, you are gaining a team that focuses on your success.
Members of the 2020 Farmers Co-Op can buy in bulk to get better prices and deals, leverage their power to negotiate with buyers and policymakers, share knowledge and more. Our goal is to help our members level the playing field, especially for small and socially disadvantaged farmers, by giving our members the tools, confidence, and community to grow their business and protect their future.
Named for the clarity of 20/20 vision, the 2020 Farmers Co-Op was founded with a sharp, focused purpose: to champion fair and equitable marketing opportunities nationwide for small-scale, historically underserved farmers.
